This was our first paper for English 111. We were asked to reflect on a time when our own different "englishes" have come into contact with each other. We had to think about the different "englishes" that surround us. Also, how these different forms of communication affect our vision of the world.​

 

We were asked to then reflect on our inquiry and go deeper into its meaning. The goal of inquiry one was as follows:

 

•  understanding our own composing process​​
• understand differences in types of Englishes​
• Understand strategies for reflection, analysis,
• Understanding strategies for assessing our own work
