I created a podcast-style essay about sorority life at Miami using only the modality of sound. My  essay is about 4 minutes in length and includes a combination of spoken words, atmospheric sounds/soundscapes, music, and silence. The essay is intended for anyone who is skeptical or interested in the inner workings of sorority life.

This is a reflective analysis that details the rhetorical choices I made in this sonic essay. Composing with sound involves making many strategic choices about sound elements like layer-in atmospheric noises, sound effects, music, voiceovers, and silence. The combination of these elements--how they are used together--create and convey certain rhetorical effects. This reflection breaks down my choices and overall approach this assignment.
