Project 1: Visual-Verbal Argument

For this project, I created a visual argument by combining textual and visual design elements (such as typography, white space, images, and color). The argument consists of a static page, specifically a flier, made using Adobe Illustrator and should engages my focal topic of greek life at Miami.

This reflection was used to report all of the subtle and careful choices made in project 1. Some of the questions answered in this relection were as follows:

What was the general argument? How was it accomplished?
What typeface was used? Why?
What colors did was used? Why?
How is the page arranged? Why?
What visual aesthetic was captured?
How was contrast created on the page?
